  Which do you prefer?

  when it comes to weather, would you rather have a wind chill below zero, or a heat index over 100?

  it's the hottest week of the summer here.

  i have to confess, i handle the cold much better than the heat.

  Last year we had 68 days of triple digits but its hot every summer I prefer the 80's however I was raised up north left because of the cold haven't lived in the north for 36 years but am moving north next month. I want to move but really really dreading the cold

  sometimes when i see insect here in my home, i just put a drinking glass over it and let it die slowly.

  I kill insects sometimes but only if they are where they shouldn't be. I do it quick & painless and I say sorry bud but I have to do this.

  everyone here loves you and appreciates your perspective on wtbs issues.

  don't be thinking about leaving.

  the situation is if everything at the kh was terrible no one would go there the problem is something I realized one day and that is they don't want you to harbour doubts at all. they want you hook line and sinker. there was a day I realized I can't do this anymore a circuit overseer gave a talk comparing us to pottery and said if you have any independant thinking you better hammer them out of yourself like a piece of defective pottery or else you won't survive the fires of armageddon.

  I thought I can't do that so you'll stay there till you can't anymore till one day you hear a talk that pushes you over the edge.

  Leaving the WT the same process as joining

  1. get a copy of crisis of conscience, bring it to the meetings and read it while others are reading the wt.

  if you work with other jw's leave a copy on your desk at work or in school.

  they may become interested.. 2. witness to everyone who is a jw as to the horrors associated with the wtbs, and the joys of leaving.. 3. if they listen, you have gained your brother.

  It may be that even close friends or relatives will tell you that they do not like your examining the organization.

  jesus said a man's enemies will be persons of his own household.

  relatives may try to discourage you in all sincerity because they do not know what you have found out. if you give in to opposition how will those friends & loved ones be helped to understand accurate knowledge.

  your staying out of the org may in time influence them to learn the truth about the wtbs.

  Recently I started listening to alot of music videos on this site because I'm being exposed to new things. We tend to listen to what we know so this is a good opportunity.

  great "I love rocky road" never listened to expose before and I like dance/music and we all have our romantic side and some music is just for that.

  also I've listened to some foreign language japanese music that possible san has put on here but I found something really interesting there was a video of two women singing in a language I didn't recognize so I looked further and it was turkish.

  well I came across a turkish music video that I really liked "sertab erener zor kadin" it was good.
